CANCELLATION POLICY
In order to provide exceptional, compassionate, and personalized care, we only offer a certain amount of services per day to allow for enough time and energy to dedicate to your pet's care. Therefore, we require a deposit when scheduling services that are over $100. The deposit requirements vary depending on whether or not the service lands on a holiday. 
 
GENERAL

  • When booking services during a time period that does not land on a holiday, clients will be required to provide a 25% deposit within 2 weeks of booking.
  • If a client cancels at least 4 weeks before the service start date, they will receive a 100% refund of their deposit.
  • If a client cancels at least 2 weeks before the service start date, they will receive a 50% refund of their deposit.
  • If a client cancels less than 2 weeks before the service start date, they will not receive a refund for their deposit.
  • If a client cancels services during the service period, they must give at least 24-hour notice to receive a 50% refund for services booked but not rendered.

HOLIDAY

  • When booking services during a time period that lands on a holiday, clients will be required to provide a 50% deposit within 1 week of booking.
  • If a client cancels at least 6 weeks before the service start date, they will receive a 100% refund of their deposit.
  • If a client cancels at least 4 weeks before the service start date, they will receive a 50% refund of their deposit.
  • If a client cancels less than 4 weeks before the service start date, they will not receive a refund for their deposit.
  • If a client cancels services during the service period, they will still be required to pay for the services booked but not rendered.
  • A holiday surcharge of 25% will apply to any service scheduled on a holiday. For example, if a client schedules overnight sitting the week of Thanksgiving, they will only be charged a 25% surcharge on Thanksgiving day.
  • Holidays include: New Year’s Eve, â€‹New Year’s Day, Memorial Day​, Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Labor Day, â€‹Thanksgiving, â€‹Christmas Eve, Christmas Day
SS COMPANION CARE WILL REFUND 100% OF YOUR DEPOSIT IF
WE MUST CANCEL YOUR SCHEDULED SERVICE.
